Because you deserve better care, not assembly-line medicine.
At Rhode Island Pelvic Wellness, we chose to step away from the limitations of insurance networks because we believe complete healing requires time, expertise, and connection. None of these should ever be rushed or dictated by a third party.
When you work with us, you get:
One-on-one sessions for a full 55–60 minutes with a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in pelvic health. You’ll never be handed off to a tech, share your appointment, or be rushed through a 15-minute check-in.
Care that's built around you: your body, your story, and your goals. No one-size-fits-all protocols here.
A peaceful, private environment where you can focus fully on your healing, far from the chaos of a busy outpatient gym.
Appointments available within 1–2 weeks, not 4–6 months.
Direct texting or email access to your therapist between visits, because questions and healing don't always happen on a schedule.
A clear path to wellness care after your symptoms are resolved, so you can maintain your progress with continued support — something insurance-based models simply can’t offer.
This model lets us deliver the kind of thorough, personalized care that actually helps eliminate or significantly reduce your symptoms — not just "manage" them while fighting insurance limits.
We know that healing is deeply personal. You deserve a place that sees you as a whole person, not a billing code.
While you pay upfront at each session, we provide a detailed superbill you can submit for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Depending on your plan, you might find our care is more affordable than in-network options — which can quietly add up to $200–500 per visit by the time the bill finally lands in your mailbox.
We also accept FSA and HSA cards to make things easier.

We would never want lack of child care to be a barrier in seeking the care you need. Mothers are welcome to nurse during treatment if needed and there is often benefit to assessing body mechanics during nursing and when caring for your children. While assessing the way you position yourself and move through interactions with your children may be beneficial, there is also benefit to attending appointments without children present as we are usually able to accomplish more during our session and provide a more relaxing environment to facilitate healing.
